Extreme Flood At My School June 7, 2008

My school had a flood this past week. Tuesday morning as my dad was dropping my sister off for school, (then brings me and then he goes to work) my mom called and said that I have no school. I was wondering what in the world would make school canceled. When I got home my mom said that the school was flooded so they couldn’t have school. Then, later that day I found out that there will be no school tomorrow either. I was very excited that I would not have to do any work for another day but I like going to school and seeing my friends. The two days that I stayed home was very boring. I played with my little sister and watched T.V. pretty much the whole day.
When I went back to school on Thursday I found out all about the flooding. What happened was a pipe in the art room which is on the first floor, broke and tons of water came out of the pipe. The whole art room became flooded. Since there was so much water. the water went through the floor of the art room and into three classrooms below. The water also spread througholut the first floor. Then the cielings of those rooms broke. With all the water going throught the cielings the water destroyed some of the walls too. So, Thursday and Friday one half of the building was all destroyed and no one could use the rooms. The half of the building that was destroyed had 7 classrooms and some offices. Thursday and Friday had a lot of chaos. Some classes had to be in the hallways and all of our classes were in different rooms then they usally were. It was two very confusing days. With all of this happening, at the same time the school is trying to sell the building. I really want them to sell the building becaue the new building that they are buying is amazing and so much nicer then the building that we have now.
Our whole school is very thankful that no one was hurt during all of this happening. The pipe could have broken during school hours and then hurt kids in the room that the cielings broke in. I am so happy that no one was hurt.

Back To School January 5, 2008

How is everyone doing going back to school after vacation? The first day that I had to get up I was very tired and not wanting to get up. But, now I am fine. School doesn’t seem to be as boring anymore. Sorry that this post is so short but I have to go. Hope to see our talk to everyone soon. Field trip February 10, 2006

My Mom wanted to go on the my field tripbut she couldn’t go yesturday because she was busy doing other things. I think that it is kind of cool to learn about different religoionas but I an always going to be a christ. I went on a field trip yesturday and today. I went to different temples and churchs. On the first day we went to a Islam Temple and a Budis Temple. The were both ok but, they were kind of boring. When we were going to the Budis Temple we went by my church and I said thats my church thats my church to my friends. Today I went to 3 places. I went to a Hundism church, a Jewish church or temple,and we also went to a greek orthodocks church. I like most of the ones that we went to that day. My Mom went with me today.I think that it is cool to learn about other religions but, I will always be christ and I will always have him by my side. I think that the field trip was cool at some places and not as cool at other places.

My art book February 3, 2006

I am making a very cool book in art class. I am going to take a bunch of pages and somehow put them together. I am going to desinge each page. I already started working on two pages. they look so cool. I am goign to have the pages not really look like somethig they are just goignt o be random things and some pages are not really going to be anything. I love my art class at the murdhoch it is soooooooooooooooo better then the one at the Shaughnessy School. This art class you can do what ever you want in the class and you cna use what ver you want. He doesn’yt just tell you one thing to so and that is the only thing that you can do. If you start to make somthing and one class and do not finish it you can keep in in a book that is for our Homebase. You can even start something one week not finish it, and themn start a new thing the next week and you can be making as many things as you want as a time. We also have a art show at our school so, if yo made something and you want other people to see it you can put it in the art show. I have not put anything in the art show yet but i think that I might put me art book that I was talking but tin the art show.

Do you ahve any idea of a cool book name for my art book? I was thinking that someone that I know might now of a cool name. Do you know of maybe a cool desinge that i could do one a page?

school January 10, 2006

School is pretty good so far. I have made a lot of friends and I am getting pretty good grades as well. I think that maybe I could do better so I am going to try better on some things. I have a friend Adrainna, Katherine, Jenn, and Katiylin. Now that I am at a new school from last year I am doing a lot of different and better things now that I am some where else now. I have better art, I have worse gym (challenge) , I am learning spanish and I think that spanish is a cool but sometimes confusing class. I don’t like my Math and science teacher. My math teacher is the same teacher that I have for science so i don’t like either classes at all. I love my L.A. teacher, she is very nice and is very pretty. I my homebase teacher is one of my favorite teahers I ever had. i love my spanish and art techer. They are both very nice. My gym (challenge) teacher is not mean but is not nice. He sometimes favors kids and that is when I don’t like im very much. The things that we do in gym (challenge) are not the best not the worst sometimes they are very boring games but sometimes they are awesome . Do you have a favorite teacher? Well, I do and I want you to tell me about your favorite teacher. I want to know about your teacher so that maybe I can see if she is like my favorite teacher.
